2003:  

June: Received the Kansas City Business Marketing Association “Fountain Award” for excellence in business-to-business public relations and two “Silver Awards of Merit.” WDS has now received more BMA Fountain Awards in the last four years than any other public relations agency in the metro Kansas City area.

2002:

March: Attended the “White House Conference on Women Entrepreneurship in the 21^st Century” as a representative of Kansas City area women business owners.

June:  Selected by Greater Kansas City Business Magazine as a “Kansas City Trendsetter.”

July: Received the Business Marketing Association “Fountain Award” for excellence in business-to-business public relations and two “Silver Awards of Merit.”

October: Received the Kansas City Public Relations Society “Silver PRISM Award” for media campaign for the media launch of the KC-CWBO.

2001

October: Co-founded Kansas City Council of Women Business Owners (KC-CWBO)

November: Inducted into the Greater KC Chamber Chairman’s Club “Hall of Fame”

October: Named “Kansas Business Advocate of the Year”

2000

October: Received a Gold & Silver PRISM Awards for Excellence in Public Relations for second year.

November:  Received 2 “Award of Merits” for creativity in Public Relations from Kansas City Business Marketing Association

June: Featured presenter at NAWBO National Meeting in Washington, DC

1999

November: Honored as Greater KC Chamber of Commerce “Member of the Year” by the Chairman’s Club.

October: Received a Gold & Silver PRISM Awards for Excellence in Public Relations

January:  Added business events and milestone anniversaries to agency services
